Rochdale Hornets women got their year off with a success in the first pre-season test.
In their first come up short on the 2020 season, Rochdale Hornets Ladies went to play Manchester University in a pre-season inviting.
Hornets handled an energetic, untested side with various new faces.
Hornets built up strength directly from the off with forceful safeguard from chiefs Jo Mullins and Meg Bleakley. This laid a stage for Hornets to assault.
Another half-back matching of Becky Hughes and Claire Collins managed everything all the way, both sharing kicking obligations just as both packing themselves attempts.
Middles; Harriet Jackson, in her first game and playing the full 80, and Sian Godwyn never made a retrogressive stride all game going hard down the center, took care of by the nine, Carla Taylor who never put a foot wrong all game.
On one side Lynsey McKernan and Megan Bleakley tired the college young ladies out, Megan running in three attempts.
Kate Howard once again from a genuine physical issue last season was electric down the other channel, turning out twice. On the wings, the Harris sisters Beth and Millie playing together just because both packed away an attempt a piece, with a bit of solid kin competition there!
In all it was an incredible day, the game was played intense however in extraordinary soul. The young ladies were an a good representative for the club on and off the pitch.

There’s an incredible vibe around the club at the moment of positive thinking and energy and the young ladies truly typified that today.
I’m anticipating venturing out to Warrington with the young ladies one week from now in what will without a doubt be a harder test yet one were all anticipating.
